On Saturday, March 16th over 150 Piedmont HealthCare employees, friends, and family came out in teams to bowl and raise money for a great cause. What started as pure fun & games turned into a remarkable day of bonding and support for a coworker.

Melissa Haines, PHC employee and Relay For Life advocate said,

Today, I watched as Barbara Tate told her cancer story at our PHC Relay For Life event. I’m so proud of our organization…for the support and love that so many show for each other. It starts at the top. Every day I see more of the “trickle effect” of the compassion that is on display at PHC. It makes me more than a little emotional to see the culture shift under the direction of our CEO Jeff Smith. Oh the places PHC will go!

Over $4,000 was raised for the cause! But of course, the day was not complete without announcing the bowling champions. Team IT won 1st place and Lake Norman Family Medicine came in 2nd. Piedmont HealthCare looks forward to many more years of this fun and impactful event.
