After more than 30 years of caring for our community, founding Piedmont HealthCare physician Dr. Andy White is retiring.
Dr. White has faithfully served the Statesville community since 1987 and became a founding physician of Piedmont HealthCare when the organization was established in 1996. Throughout his career, he built lasting relationships with generations of patients through his compassionate care, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering commitment to internal medicine. For many, his practice was more than healthcare. It was a ministry rooted in faith, where patients found not only a trusted physician, but also encouragement, prayer, and genuine compassion.
As Dr. White shares in this farewell message, caring for his patients has been one of the greatest privileges of his career. His final day seeing patients is August 7. We thank Dr. White for his dedication, his service, and the countless lives he has touched over the past three decades.
Dr. Brian Brill is currently caring for patients alongside Dr. White to ensure a smooth transition and will assume care of the practice on August 10. More information about Dr. Brill and the practice’s transition to Internal Medicine & Diabetes Care will be shared later this week.
Please join us in wishing Dr. White a happy and well-deserved retirement!
We invite Dr. White’s patients, friends, and members of the community to join us in celebrating his remarkable career at his retirement celebration on Saturday, August 16, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Western Avenue Baptist Church in Statesville. We hope you’ll stop by to thank Dr. White for his decades of faithful service and wish him all the best in retirement.
