She wasn’t an overnight success.
Board-certified Dermatologist Dr. Naomi Simon worked extremely hard for years to achieve the enviable life she enjoys today. Her 20-year marriage, her two little ‘Cub Scouts’ Elias and Samuel, and her Mooresville Dermatology practice, Eterna Aesthetics, are the result of doing the hard things that some people told her she couldn’t or shouldn’t do.
Dr. Simon actually had people tell her not to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor for a variety of reasons. She heard everything from “it’s too much work” and “you won’t be able to have a family” to “no man will marry you.”
(They said WHAT?!)
As Dr. Simon stated, “For me to be really happy in life, I needed to be a doctor and so I wasn’t going to give up that dream. Also, I always wanted to be a mom. I thought that I would just do both! (I thought) we’re going to be happy, healthy, and successful even with me being a full-time doctor.”
Just wow. Truly wow.
