April 3rd (Statesville, NC) – Piedmont HealthCare is thrilled to announce the arrival of Dr. Tao Cui, a highly skilled and dedicated urologist, to our community. Dr. Cui will be opening Piedmont HealthCare Piedmont Urology, located at 556 Kitchings Drive, offering comprehensive urological care to patients of all ages beginning April 4th.
Driven by a passion for advancements in medical technology and a commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Cui chose the field of urology for its reputation as a specialty at the forefront of innovation. With extensive experience in utilizing cutting-edge techniques, including the application of lasers and robotics, Dr. Cui will be utilizing the da Vinci Surgical System at Iredell Memorial Hospital, ensuring top-tier care for his patients. 
Emphasizing a community-oriented approach to healthcare, Dr. Cui expressed his eagerness to establish strong connections within the local community. “I want to know the people that I work with and the patients that I serve,” he stated, highlighting his dedication to fostering meaningful relationships with both colleagues and patients alike.
At Piedmont Urology, Dr. Cui will provide a wide range of services encompassing general urological care, including but not limited to the treatment of kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and pediatric urology.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Cui is a devoted husband and father of two children, aged 11 and 8, and a cherished family dog. In his leisure time, he finds joy in gardening and exploring new destinations through travel.
