(Statesville & Mooresville, NC – October 12) -Piedmont HealthCare is thrilled to introduce the latest addition, Dr. Julie Glener, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, to Piedmont HealthCare – Piedmont Bone & Joint. Dr. Glener is now part of a group of five orthopedic surgeons: Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman, Dr. Scott Brandon, Dr. John “Alex” Seldomridge, Dr. Brett Feldman, and Dr. Travis Eason. Her addition to the team demonstrates the practice’s ongoing commitment to delivering top-notch orthopedic care in our community.
Originally from Florida and a proud Gator, Dr. Glener began her medical journey at the University of Florida, where she completed her undergraduate studies. Her passion for orthopedic care grew during her time at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. Dr. Glener completed her orthopedic residency at West Virginia University and later gained specialized fellowship training at the Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute focusing on shoulder and elbow procedures.

Dr. Julie Glener will offer comprehensive orthopedic care, with a specialization in shoulder and elbow treatments and procedures. She is dedicated to building strong patient relationships and delivering tangible results through various approaches, whether through conservative measures like physical therapy, or injection or when surgery is necessary. Her expertise covers a wide range of procedures, including anatomical shoulder replacements, reverse shoulder replacements, rotator cuff repairs, labral repair, and bicep tenodesis.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Glener enjoys listening to True Crime podcasts, baking delicious treats, and honing her newfound crocheting skills.
