When Bud Goodman was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the 1940s, he overheard his doctor tell his father that his life would likely be cut short at least 20 years.
Well, look at him now.

After 66 years of insulin injections, 60 years of marriage, three sons and a daughter – “Life has been good to me,” he said.
