Piedmont HealthCare employees from over 20 offices came together to support a local non-profit, Yokefellow Ministry, by holding a companywide bowling tournament on March 22. Teams were put together by Piedmont HealthCare staff and in addition to the scores of the bowlers, teams were able to earn points from food and supplies they collected for the ministry. A total of 1,486 pounds of food and 312 pounds of household items were donated along with over $5,700 dollars raised for Yokefellow Ministry.
Yokefellow Ministry is a local Christian non-profit with their Helping Center and Thrift Store located on Shelton Ave. The ministry provides resources to the community such as assistance with food, clothing, household items, and rent. There are opportunities to donate to their food pantry on their website along with volunteer applications for those who want to get involved.
Piedmont HealthCare staff were eager to participate in an afternoon of games, food, and friendly competition that was for a ministry that gives back to their community.
