The staff of Mooresville Dermatology Center is getting their racing shoes ready for the 2017 Miles Against Melanoma 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run & Kids Dash. The family friendly event is set for Saturday, April 29, 2017.
The event is held annually to help raise awareness and funds for melanoma skin cancer. Proceeds raised will stay in the local community and benefit the Carolina’s Melanoma and Immunotherapy Fund at Carolina HealthCare System’s Levine Cancer Institute. So far MAM NC has donated over $110,000 to the fund. Prizes will be awarded by Omega Sports for the overall winners and age group winners.
