Piedmont HealthCare is excited to welcome Dr. Arfa Faiz and celebrate the opening of our new Allergy, Asthma & Immunology office!
Dr. Faiz is double board-certified in Allergy & Immunology and Internal Medicine. She trained at the University of Central Florida for residency and completed her fellowship at UCLA and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Her passion for medicine started young, but it was during residency that she discovered how fascinating allergy and immunology could be, from helping patients with everyday allergies to treating rare conditions like hereditary angioedema.
Her approach to care is simple: listen, explain, and decide together. “I don’t make decisions for you, I provide the information and options so we can choose the best treatment plan as a team,” she says.
When she’s not with patients, you’ll probably find Dr. Faiz out on the lake, biking through national parks, or planning her next travel adventure (she’s been to 24 countries so far!). She also loves Pilates, skiing, and spending time with her three nieces and her cat.
Dr. Faiz is excited to call North Carolina home and looks forward to caring for patients in our community.
