Our Endoscopy Center is the first in the state to acquire the ENDORA Endoscope disinfection errors. Though this has never been an issue at our center, it has been a serious issue for other centers nationwide. In just five years, over 30,000 patients were exposed to compromised endoscopes and possible healthcare-associated infections due to lapses in reprocessing. Endoscopes are one of the most complicated medical devices to clean and disinfect.
