I was hired in 2009, starting out as a PRN office manager for Dr. Shah covering maternity leave. I then was hired at Nance Family Medicine where I stayed for 6 years before moving to Administration. I share with PHC the same vision of helping people and offering quality care. I enjoy the opportunities I have been given to grow at each level and appreciate the encouragement I have received from leadership.

I was hired in August 2017 after 12 years of staying at home with my children. It was a new start for me as my kids were in school. I work at PHC Derm in Statesville, where I have felt at home from the beginning. I love working for PHC Derm because it feels like family here. We truly care for one another and try to help each other’s days go better, which in turn, makes a more positive experience for our patients.

I started at Statesville Medical Group in 1994. That makes me a founding member of Piedmont HealthCare. I am now the senior pediatrician and I’m trying to figure out how that happened so fast. This organization watches out for everyone – the doctors, the nurses, the patients, everyone. It has been an honor and a privilege to be able to serve our community and our kids for 27 years.
