For Men’s Health Week, we talked to Dr. Walls, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at PHC Davie Internal Medicine. He gave us his top five tips to maintain a healthy lifestyle:
- Include a variety of fruits and vegetables in your diet every day.
- Get your physical activity in! Adults need 2.5 hours of physical activity each week.
- Get regular checkups and stay up to date on your family’s health history.
- Learn the signs of heart attacks, strokes, and other harmful events.
- Seek help for any mental health issues. Remember, struggling with mental health does not make you weak.
