Dr. Robert Reindollar Retires After 45 Year Career in Gastroenterology
On July 14, 2023, Dr. Robert Reindollar retired from Piedmont HealthCare Gastroenterology. Dr. Reindollar experienced a sudden health concern, from which he is not fully recovered, but has decided to officially retire after his 45-year career in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr. Reindollar joined the Piedmont HealthCare family in 2005 and has resided in Iredell County ever since. Dr. Reindollar, and his wife Sherl, will continue to call Mooresville home and plan to enjoy retirement near the lake, spending time with friends, family and their beloved puppy.
“We can’t help but admire Dr. Reindollar’s career and legacy, providing care to patients in the local communities,” remarked PHC CEO Jeff Smith. “His patients, his staff and his colleagues will miss his presence in the medical community. We are grateful for the time he spent at Piedmont HealthCare and are extremely fortunate that he decided to return at the end of his career to spend it with PHC and the patients we serve.”
A message from Dr. Reindollar to his patients:
Having practiced medicine for 45 years, with the majority in the metropolitan Charlotte area, there is no question that my fondest memories will be of those years I spent in community medicine, specifically in Statesville with Piedmont HealthCare. I have made many friends with patients and colleagues that I will always cherish. I am very proud of the quality of medicine given at Iredell Memorial Hospital and Piedmont HealthCare.
